Dallas Smith string results -nearly gone!

Dallas Smith and his entire band donated a good many guitar and bass strings a few months ago when we saw them perform in Kamloops just as the pandemic was ending. We are down to the last very few, and have been able to donate a substantial amount to World Vision through their online gift catalog this week.

We wanted to choose emergency items like emergency food, school lunches for kids but also wanted to send a girl to school (x2). Mental health support is an initiative Dallas Smith supports fully, vocally; and with the war and strife in the world right now- the amount of kids (and adults) affected is huge. Mental health support for those in this type of environment is much needed. We choose to fund this ‘gift’ x2. We also went big – stocking a medical clinic, and supplied an entire classroom. Some gifts will multiply in value, due to corporations matching private giving, so we choose a few items with this in mind as well. You can view the entire list in the image below.

All together we raised $630.00 with this latest batch of guitar /bass string bracelets, and figure we have enough strings left to possibly generate this much again, which would use up all our Dallas Smith strings.
