Vocational training, street children support from guitar strings!

A new avenue opened up for us with the guitar string jewelry – the local farmers market! We were able to sell a few Papa Roach Jerry Horton earrings, as well as a few bracelets made from strings donated by Canadian rocker Sam Roberts Band (Sam and Dave Nugent). We combined the proceeds with a few items from The Trews guitar strings and were able to send $300 to World Vision for the following:

  • supply a classroom (x2)
  • emergency food
  • school nutrition (x2)
  • vocational training
  • support street children

We have never chosen vocational training support before and were thrilled to see it as a new item on World Vision’s list. As well, street children require safe shelter, counselling and more, and we really wanted to add to this. Thanks to all involved!
