Okay so first off, thank you Hoogie on the Road!
Hoogie is Eric Bass‘ bass tech and was instrumental in getting us Eric’s used strings (no pun intended haha). Shinedown just finished a long run of tour dates (with Papa Roach) on their Attention Attention tour, with a stop in our town (fantastic show!!), and we hooked up with Hoogie to scoop 4 sets of Eric’s used strings! This photo is taken at the venue between bands, out on the concourse floor as I caught my breath and sat on the stairs 😉
So… if you are on Instagram or Twitter, be sure to follow us! We have 16 strings. We will be as fair as possible about giving everyone a fair shot at buying a Shinedown string bracelet. We’ll do the most bracelets possible with those strings – starting with the thickest which we can only make simple bangles with – 3 bracelets per string (12 bracelets – five are already purchased, 7 left). After that, we’ll start on the next thickest string, and work our way to the thinnest from there. Each style will be posted on our Instagram (here) and Twitter (here) so hopefully everyone can see it and have an equal chance to purchase.
I would like to purchase Eric Bass pick or strings or if Zach Meyers becomes available but don’t have twitter or instagram and don’t understand why there isn’t another purchase point.
hi Karen, sorry for the late reply as I only come to this site to update it. The reason for no other purchase point is that Instagram makes it easy to post images and tag the band and Hoogie, Eric’s tech. The rate at which bracelets are created (mostly custom) and sold is far too rapid for me to spend the 5-10 minutes for each bracelet adding it to a retail site. I literally made 30 bracelets in a week, so can only do the bare minimum of keeping up to custom orders. I will likely be getting more strings from Eric in the fall.. and again expect to only be posting on Instagram because that’s where most people, including the band, now are.
