a long while ago, Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar donated a set of his used guitar strings to us after a show at Wild Mountain Music Fest in Hinton, BC. We have had them ever since, always wanting to do something with them but never being able to quite make it work… until just recently! A lady contacted us on Twitter and was overjoyed to be able to purchase the last three Big Sugar strings and have three identical bracelets created for herself and her besties!
The results were combined with a single bracelet sale from Sam Roberts band, and we sent $140.00 to World Vision – most of it went to emergency food, and ‘where most needed’, with a small amount covering education for kids.
Thanks to Gordie and the three ladies for helping us send another allotment of good things to World Vision.
