The Glorious Sons were the last concert we saw, two days before lockdown for Covid in Canada – and they were supposed to be the first concert post-pandemic in January of this year, but it was postponed a little longer.. so we were able to see them at the beginning of June (much nicer than in January snow!).
We’ve had strings donated by Brett Emmons previously (twice!) and knew he was open to donating them again.
We were able to hook up with the band before the show, and they all graciously donated their used strings to us – strings from singer Brett’s acoustic guitar (we think), from guitarist Chris Koster and guitarist Jay Emmons. (We’ve never had strings from the rest of the band before – nice!)
All told, we have 17 The Glorious Sons strings – Bracelets will be made! Stay tuned for the results.
