Results for Alex Skolnick donated guitar strings

Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick donated his used guitar strings to us a few weeks ago, and we had a fun time designing bracelets for the many fans that stepped up and supported us by ordering one, two or even six bracelets! The strings were gone in no time!

Once the dust settled, we were able to head to World Vision’s Gift Catalog and spend $745! We wanted to go big… here’s a list of what we were able to choose to sponsor/purchase:

• Stock a medical clinic -partner companies will match this gift 2x to increase supplies and equipment needed
• Immunize a community – An estimated 19.7 million children under the age of one year did not receive basic vaccines in 2019 (such as polio and diphtheria).
• Purchase a goat – rich in protein, calcium and other nutrients, and is a great benefit to children in need. A goat can provide fertilizer to grow crops, hundreds of litres of milk, cheese and even the start of a whole herd.
• Purchase 2 hens and rooster  (eggs, breeding, food)
• Clean Water Fund for an entire community to prevent waterborne diseases and improve hygiene
• Help build a Latrine for a community (which improves sanitation and health)
• Bed Nets – to prevent malaria
• Life Saving Nutrition for a child -partner companies will match this gift 2x to provide high protein food packs to those severely malnourished and in desperate need.
